Seemingly Jet’s comeback has been relatively successful. Barely a month since their now legendary 100 Club show saw the likes of Kasabian and The Chemical Brothers fighting for guest list spaces, they are poised to release ‘Bring It On Back’, the second single taken from their acclaimed new album ’Shine On.
Not specifically known for their laid back smooth rock and roll, ‘Bring It On Back’ is a gentile untypical track for the band who excel themselves in this new found niche. The track has a chorus which will undoubtedly have the audience (those lucky enough to catch them on their entirely sold out UK tour) singing along by the second verse and the track is a far cry from the likes of ‘Are You Gonna Be My Girl’ their anthemous biggest hit to date.
The Aussie foursome have risen from strength to strength with the release of Shine On and show no sign of slowing down this progression thanks to a string of (as aforementioned) sold out dates across the UK. They may not be the most exciting band on the planet, but if it’s a helping of gods honest rock and roll you want with lashings of charisma and the odd sing along chorus, then Jet are undoubtedly for you; luckily, they won’t be going anywhere anytime soon!
